On this beautiful winter Saturday, that felt more like April than January, the market was hopping. After last weekends freezing rain, the sunshine was appreciated by the shoppers and producers both. Even though it is the winter, the market offered meats, eggs, dairy, honey, preserves, breads, pasta, and an amazing selection of produce. There were mushrooms, fresh greens, apples, onions, potatoes, squash, tomatoes, quince and more.
The Arlington Courthouse Farmers’ Market is now operating on its Winter Market hours (9:00 AM to Noon). Come visit us. The vendors are there rain or shine or bundled for the cold!
